Recognizing the need for a highly competent laboratory offering a full range of construction materials testing and analytical services, GGGC was established in 1992 by Dr. M.S Ghuman an Ex-professor, Department of Civil Engg, Punjab Engg College, Chandigarh, India and Er. Rajiv Kumar Gupta Member of Geotechnical Society. The technical advisory committee includes eminent scientists, professionals and technocrats from various engineering fields.

GGGC lab operation in Mohali is a NABL accredited testing laboratory in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 procedures in the field of Mechanical, Non Destructive Testing & Chemical Testing (TC-5045), which include condition assessment of old RCC structures, Fire Burnt Structures ensuring consistent reliable laboratory results.
